Bahia Macaw Print

Subject: Macaw, stamp series
Medium: Giclée fine art print
Type: Print

Part of my Brasil Stamp Series: small painted postcards from the country that shaped me growing up. Each one is a little window into Brazil: a place, a piece of wildlife, a colour I remember. This one is Bahia, the warm, sun-soaked north-east, where the macaws are loud and the yellow is louder. A blue-and-gold macaw on tropical yellow and cobalt, framed like a stamp from an old travel journal. Giclée fine art print on heavyweight matte fine-art paper, deep true-to-canvas colour.
