I painted this piece to capture that feeling of summer in Brazil, warm days, bright colors, tropical landscapes and the kind of memories that stay with you long after you leave. The Stamp Series is my way of turning those memories into something tangible. Each painting represents a little piece of a place that shaped me, almost like a postcard sent from a memory. This one is a little love letter to the banana, tumbling across a deep blue background: they were everywhere growing up, in the fruit bowl, on the street corner, in everybody's kitchen. I wanted this piece to feel joyful and nostalgic at the same time, like bringing a little bit of Brazilian summer into your space.
