The Brazilian flag wasn't designed in a meeting room. Its colours came from the country itself. The warm yellow of the sun, the deep blue of the ocean, the green of the forest. I painted this parrot up close because it carries every one of those colours on its body. It's my home, painted as a single bird. Acrylic on canvas with raised texture gesso feather detail. Signed original.
