Postmarked from Brasilia - Birds of Paradise

$350AUD

Subject: Birds of paradise, stamp series
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 30 × 30 cm
Type: Original

I painted this piece to capture that feeling of summer in Brazil, warm days, bright colors, tropical landscapes and the kind of memories that stay with you long after you leave. The Stamp Series is my way of turning those memories into something tangible. Each painting represents a little piece of a place that shaped me, almost like a postcard sent from a memory. This one carries the stamp of Brasília, where the birds of paradise open like something out of a dream, orange and blue against the warm light of the capital. I wanted this piece to feel joyful and nostalgic at the same time, like bringing a little bit of Brazilian summer into your space.
