$350AUD

Subject: Scarlet macaw, stamp series
Medium: Acrylic & gesso texture on canvas
Size: 30 × 30 cm
Type: Original

I painted this piece to capture that feeling of summer in Brazil, warm days, bright colors, tropical landscapes and the kind of memories that stay with you long after you leave. The Stamp Series is my way of turning those memories into something tangible. Each painting represents a little piece of a place that shaped me, almost like a postcard sent from a memory. This one carries the stamp of Mato Grosso do Sul, home of the Pantanal, where scarlet macaws fly over the wetlands in pairs and the red of their feathers is brighter than anything you have seen. I wanted this piece to feel joyful and nostalgic at the same time, like bringing a little bit of Brazilian summer into your space.
